The Dive: Get ready for an exhilarating shark cage diving experience! Our cage comfortably fits 5 divers, but can take up to 6 if needed. Dive into the heart-pounding excitement of coming face-to-face with majestic sharks using our breath-hold system. This method is ideal for limited visibility, making every second count as you encounter these awe-inspiring creatures up close.
Our expert crew on the boat keeps a watchful eye on the sharks, ensuring you’re always looking in the right direction at the right time for the best possible views. For qualified divers, we offer a hookah scuba system, ideal for when visibility exceeds 6 meters. This allows you to seamlessly follow the sharks as they gracefully move around the boat and cage, enhancing your diving experience.
Hookah scuba is available on request, so please specify when booking. Get ready for an unforgettable dive into the depths with nature’s most fascinating predators!

The Boat: A maximum of 18 guests on board.

Dive Depth: Surface cage.

Water Temperature: 14 – 18º C

Water Visibility: 3 – 20 metres

Detailed Itinerary

Meet at the Dive Centre

Arrive at the dive centre by 08:30 to complete paperwork and prepare for the adventure.

Board the Boat

Board the boat and receive a safety briefing and general information about the trip.

Depart for Sea

Leave the pier and head out to sea, enjoying the scenic views along the way.

Arrive at the Island

Arrive at the island between 10:00 and 10:30.

Shark Briefing

Receive a briefing on shark hunting behaviour and what to expect during the dive.

Anchor and Chumming

Anchor the boat around 10:45 and start chumming to attract sharks to the boat.

Cage Diving Briefing

Drop the cage into the water and brief clients on the cage dive and shark behaviour around the boat.

Cage Dive

Spend 3-4 hours on anchor cage diving and viewing the sharks from the safety of the boat.

Return to Simon's Town

After an exhilarating experience, return to Simons Town Harbour, reflecting on the day's adventures and sharing stories with fellow divers.
