An early start for a scenic one-hour coastal drive heading to Umkomaas, the gateway to the world-renowned Aliwal Shoal sanctuary.
Welcome & Preparation
Meet your dedicated team at the dive center. On the agenda: registration, gear fitting, and a personalized safety briefing to ensure a smooth and confident immersion.
Launch Day – Heading to the Big Blue
Board our semi-rigid boat (RIB) for a dynamic crossing to the open sea, enjoying breathtaking views of the wild coastline along the way.
The Shark Experience
Slip into warm, crystal-clear waters. This is the moment you’ve been waiting for: encounter ragged-tooth sharks and, with a bit of luck, the impressive tiger sharks in their natural habitat.
Underwater Exploration
Keep your eyes wide open! In between shark encounters, explore fossilized reefs, vibrant corals, and the endless ballet of rays and sea turtles.
Debrief & Relax
Back on solid ground, enjoy some well-earned refreshments. It’s the perfect time to swap stories, share your photos, and relive the highlights of the dive.
The Return
Transfer back to your hotel around midday. You’ll head home with a head full of memories and the rest of the day to soak it all in.
